Blue Lapis Big Buffalo Fetish

Lapis is one of the oldest work gemstones worldwide. Todd uses rare and unique stones in his carvings, inspired by his knowledge and college degree in geology.

For this spectacular Bison, he used blue lapis with a matrix of mica and pyrite inclusions. Sterling silver inset eyes, polished water buffalo horn horns and crushed coral and turquoise back embellishment, honoring the renowned Buffalo Society, who dance when the first snows fall.
