Geronimo (profile), by Mark Shelton

Geronimo (profile)

Geronimo is based on a photograph taken by legendary photographer Edward Curtis. The picture was taken at Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the day before the inauguration of President Roosevelt.

Mark chose acrylic paint to capture the great leader's far away and long ago gaze.  A garnet colored frame sets off the work.
